The former Vice President of Sierra Leone, Mr Victor Foh and four others will be prosecuted by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) next Wednesday 22nd August 2018 on allegations encompassing misappropriation of public funds, conspiracy among others.
This follows after five new charges and two more people were added to the alleged corruption case.
It brings to five the indictees and eight the charges proffered by the Anti Corruption Commission. The two are Former Mines Minister, Minkailu Mansaray who was head of the Hajj Committee and a man called Fakeh who was an aide to the former president.
It will be recalled that the former Mines Minister was appointed by the former President-Ernest Bai Koroma as head of the Hajj Committee, while the former Vice President is alleged to have received 80,000 United States Dollars reportedly withdrawn from the hajj account and still being unaccounted for.
Salone Mirror learnt that the new development comes after the ACC Boss, Francis Ben Kaifala expanded investigations into the alleged graft a month ago.
