Construction Of Third Largest Overhead Bridge Begins In Sierra Leone

The Sierra Leone government has begun construction of an overhead bridge in Freetown, the capital of the country.

The bridge project, which starts at the back of Atlantic and ends at juba, is an overhead bridge system expected to proffer solution for most of the traffic problem in the lumley axis.

“The project will see the concerted effort of external and internal engineers but mostly internal engineers drawn large from the Sierra Leone road transport coporation.”, an official of the Ministry of works told Salone Mirror.

It was also gathered that the project is fully funded by the government under the President Maada Bio led administration.

“The Sierra Leone government is ready to transform this nation. They are presently laying the ground work for capital and economic investment which will soon yield dividend by a massive transformation in the reduction of basic commodities and uplifting hundreds of thousands of our people out of poverty.

“They will invest in human capital through the free education because all economic indicators are pointing to human capacity building for economic freedom.”, the official added.
